Five Southern California Wildfires

A huge forest fire burns at night just outside the Los Angeles city limits

Five fires are currently burning in LA and the surrounding area.

Ventura Fire: The Thomas fire reached the Pacific Ocean. It jumped the 101 Freeway into Solimar Beach. So far, it’s burned 50,000 acres and 27,000 people were forced to evacuate. The 101 freeway is open.

Bel-Air Fire: LAPD has ordered the evacuation of homes along Casiano Road, Moraga Drive and Linda Flora Drive. Mandeville Canyon and Sullivan Canyon should be prepared for evacutation.

Sylmar Fire: The Creek fire jumped the 210 and a has spread into Shadow Hills and Angeles National Forest.

San Bernardino Fire: There’s a blaze in the foothills near the Cal State campus. It closed down the 215 freeway on Tuesday.

Santa Clarita Fire: The Rye fire is 5000 acres plus. There has been extensive evacutions and gridlock.

If you’re ordered to evacuate do it immediately.
