It was on this day in 1977 that AC/DC made their US chart debut with "Let There Be Rock" – 3 years later, lead singer Bon Scott was dead and Brian Johnson had taken over.

Now, 35 years after they burst onto the scene, there is a movie being made about the life of Bon Scott. This isn’t going to be a big production like the Johnny Cash movie or the Freddie Mercury movie coming up.

High Voltage Productions has begun pre-production on a docu-drama entitled Bon Scott – The Legend of AC/DC. A guy named Rob Liotti who has made a living portraying Bon will have the starring role.
