Road Work

Who in the hell plans the "road work" in our area? Most everyone in the valley suffered the horror of what was yesterday morning's traffic. If you were fortunate enough to miss it, it was complete insanity. It seems inevitably there will be major road construction taking place on every road in and out of Palm Springs from either Cathedral City or Desert Hot Springs all at the same time, right after a major wind storm. Not that anyone can control the weather, but somebody plans the road projects. Wouldn't it be better to spread them out a little bit? That way there would be a couple of alternate routes people could use to get to work. Or does that person in charge get a kick out of irritating and complicating the lives of an entire city of people?
