Acrisure Secures Naming Rights To New Ice Hockey & Entertainment Arena In Palm Desert

Oak View Group has signed a 10 year deal with Acrisure giving that finance and technology company exclusive naming rights to the hockey arena being built on Varner Road just east of Cook Street just north of Interstate 10.

Oak View Group is the global venue development, advisory and investment company that is spearheading the Acrisure Arena project and bringing an American Hockey League team, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, to the desert.

In addition to being the home ice for the Firebirds, Acrisure Arena will host more than 150 events per year.

You’ll see Acrisure’s name at center ice of the arena, on the scoreboards and on the roof, once Acrisure Arena is finished.

Acrisure Arena will seat 11,500 people, and offer premium suites too. Developers expect Acrisure Arena to be carbon-neutral by 2025.

Next door, will be a training facility for the Firebirds that will be used for local youth teams also.

Acrisure Arena is being built with private financing, no tax dollars are being used.

Acrisure is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, providing intelligence-driven financial services  for Insurance, Reinsurance, Asset Management, Real Estate Services, and Cyber Services.
