Actor Revealed for Chris Cornell Movie

The Brad Pitt-produced documentary about late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has announced their lead actor.

Lauchlin MacDonald, whose acting credits include Ocean’s Thirteen, will play Cornell in Like A Stone. Drena De Niro, the adopted daughter of actor Robert De Niro, will play Cornell’s widow Vicky.

Variety reports that the movie, produced by Pitt and Vicky Cornell, will follow the life and career of Cornell and will feature archival footage from Soundgarden, Audioslave, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam.
