Adios Face Masks

It’s been months since the vast majority of Californians wore a medical face mask out of fear of Covid-19.

But for the record, the State of California still had a recommendation in place, urging people to wear face masks.

Well, Friday September 23rd 2022  is the day California officially stops recommending face masks for most people.

Guidelines are changing for the first time in seven months as the spread of COVID slows down.

California is now only urging people to wear face masks,  when a county’s hospitalization level jumps again.

Right now, only three Central Valley counties are still high.

Facemask mandates are also ending for jails, prisons, homeless shelters, and cooling centers but not for hospital workers and patients.
