Anza Fires Quickly Extinguished

Two small brush fires in Anza kept firefighters busy Thursday, July 9th.
One scorched 8 acres near Cary and Tripp Flats Roads early Thursday afternoon, then resources from that fire dashed to another small blaze one mile away near Ayers Way and Howard Road, north of Highway 371. That fire burned 2 acres.
The cause of both fires is under investigation.
