April Is Water Conservation Month; Palm Desert Joins National Mayor’s Challenge

In Palm Desert, it’s Water Conservation Month.

The Wyland Foundation has something called the National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation.

The idea  is to conserve water.  And like everything else in this world, you just go online to participate.

Cities across America are taking part. The city with the highest percentage of residents who make a pledge to conserve water this month, will win.

You can go to  mywaterpledge.com for take part, but remember, if you go to that website to pledge to conserve water, you will be using more electricity to recharge your tablet, or phone, or to power your computer.

And…you are also supposed to be conserving energy, because every bit of energy you use, is contributing to global warming.
