Rock fans have a love-hate relationship with Greta Van Fleet. While some see the Michigan quartet as the saviors of the genre, others dismiss them as ripping off Led Zeppelin.

But what do artists think of the band?

Alice Cooper is a big supporter. And while he too makes the Zep comparison, the shock rocker notes, “People are ready for a new Led Zeppelin, so guitar rock, once again, is going to take the forefront.”

Slash is a fan, calling them both “healthy” and “inspiring”.

Guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani reveals GVF is his “favorite young band”.

You can add both Elton John and Ted Nugent to the list too.

But how about Robert Plant? Recently he joked, “There’s a band in Detroit called Greta Van Fleet, they are Led Zeppelin I. Beautiful little singer, I hate him!”
