“Bohemian Rhapsody” Becomes Top Biopic of All Time

“Bohemian Rhapsody” has reached another milestone, surpassing “Straight Outta Compton” to become the number one biopic in U.S. history.

The movie about Freddy Mercury and Queen took in another $7.9 million over the weekend, pushing its domestic total to $164.3 million.

“Compton” finished its run with $161 million domestically. Globally, “Bohemian Rhapsody” has been sitting comfortably at number one for some time now.

It’s already earned more than $500 million worldwide, leaving “Compton,” with $202 million, biting the dust.
