Conor McGregor Challenges Mark Wahlberg to a Fight

Conor McGregor’s retirement didn’t last very long. Just days after the UFC fighter called it quits, he’s issued a challenge that would see him return to the ring.

The person he wants to fight? Actor Mark Wahlberg. In a tweet posted Wednesday, the former UFC champ wrote, “I’ve decided to challenge Hollywood actress Mark Walhberg next. A fight for all the shares!”

The “shares” McGregor mentioned are likely stock shares in the company. Wahlberg is one of 23 celebrity clients who invested in WME-IMG, which owns the UFC.

McGregor has previously said he deserves to be given stock in the company, claiming he helped build it. So far, Wahlberg has not responded to the challenge.
