COVID-19 numbers update

Confirmed US COVID-19 cases continue to track toward the one million mark. However, testing remains sparse.

Total national cases number more than 842,300, according to Johns Hopkins University. More than 46,000 Americans have died.

Total global case have now surpassed 2.6 million with more than 182,000 dead. Of the fewer than 4.5 million US tests, so far, nearly 81.5% have come back negative, according to the COVID Tracking Project.
