Covid-19 Cases Nearing 1,000 In Riverside County
946 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Riverside County, as of Tuesday morning April 7th 2020
441 of those cases are among people between 40 and 64 years old.
454 cases among women, 443 cases among men.
There have been 25 deaths linked to Covid-19 in Riverside County.
Local cases in the Coachella Valley:
57 cases in Palm Springs, 7 dead
29 in Cathedral City, 1 dead
45 in Palm Desert, 2 dead
18 in Rancho Mirage, 2 dead
51 cases in Indio, 2 dead
24 in La Quinta
8 cases each in Desert Hot Springs and Indian Wells
36 cases in Coachella
26 cases in unincorporated areas around the desert.
2 cases in Idyllwild/Pine Cove
83 cases in Riverside and no deaths
90 cases in Moreno Valley, 2 deaths
No cases in Cabazon, Vista Santa Rosa or North Shore
60 people have recovered from the Covid-19 virus, the rest are being treated, either quarantined at home or hospitalized.
Drive-thru testing is available by appointment only at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio from 9 a-m to 3 p-m Tuesday through Saturday, and Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Riverside, and Diamond Stadium in Lake Elsinore. You must call 800-945-6171 if you have symptoms to schedule a test.
