Dave Grohl, like many musicians, is praising the passing of the Save Our Stages Act. Grohl took the time to share the message on Foo Fighters’ social media, saying, “A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Save Our Stages Act, which passed yesterday as a part of the economic stimulus bill.”
The passing of the act will see funds going towards independent venues who have faced the threat of closure this year. That would mean $15 billion will go into helping live venues, independent and smaller movie theaters, and any venue of cultural significance.
