Rock stars are regular people too. They also can have the same insecurities and fears that plague us. Just ask Duff McKagan.

Speaking to Forbes, the Guns N’ Roses bassist detailed his “greatest weakness” and how he was able to turn that around into something positive.

McKagan reveals he started having panic attacks when he was 16, so he began to self medicate with alcohol, which only triggered more attacks.

Discovering Ukidokan, a form of Martial Arts, has helped the rocker control his mental state, admitting, “So my weakness has kind of turned into a strength.”
