Firebirds Extend Win Streak To 6; Pride Weekend At Acrisure Arena Jan 7th & 8th

The winning streak is now 6 games for the Coachella Valley Firebirds after their 4 to 2 win over Colorado January 4th 2023 at Acrisure Arena.

 

The Firebirds controlled play the entire game, but were mired in a 1-1 tie heading into the final period, giving up the tying goal with under a minute left in the 2nd period.

 

John Hayden got the game-winning goal with 5 minutes left in the game, and the Firebirds added an empty net goal with about a minute left.

 

The Firebirds have games at home on Saturday January 7th at 6 pm against San Jose, and Sunday January 8th at 3 pm against Ontario, and it is Pride Weekend.
