Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam Drummers Record For Mystery Project

When not sitting behind the kit with Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins has been recording tons of new music.

The drummer recently revealed to Tone Deaf that he’s teamed up with Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron on a new project also featuring Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne, which he expects should “see the light of day, someday.”

Hawkins also shares some kind words for his fellow stickman, admitting, “I just was texting Matt a couple of days ago, actually. He’s a hero, major, major hero of mine, as far as a drummer and a songwriter.” Not one to sit down for long,

Hawkins says he’s been in the studio with Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, putting together some “fun little scrappy garage rock songs that we’ll try to get out at some point.”
