Earlier this month, a punk show held at a Calfornia Denny’s caused over $2,000 in damages thanks to some… lively fans.
Now Green Day is stepping in to pick up the tab. The band, who got their start in the California punk scene, donated $2,000 to a GoFundMe launched by 17-year-old concert promoter Bryson Del Valle, to cover damages caused during a Dec. 14th show by the band Wacko at a Denny’s in Santa Ana.
Green Day even told Bryson to “call us” about a possible future gig – though it’s unclear if any Grand Slams or Moons Over My Hammy would be involved.
