Hulu Drops Trailer For ‘Pistol’

Fresh off the success of Pam & Tommy, Hulu just dropped the first trailer for its next rock’n’roll series – the Sex Pistols biopic Pistol.

The 30-second clip features frontman Johnny Rotten – played by Anson Boon – declaring “We’re going to kick this country awake if it kills us”. Ironically, the real-life Johnny Rotten tried to stop the series from getting made.

Pistol is based on guitarist Steve Jones’ memoir Lonely Boy: Tales From a Sex Pistol and was directed by Trainspotting’s Danny Boyle. All six episodes will premiere on Hulu May 31st.
