‘I Live One Day At A Time’: Rob Halford Marks 36 Years Of Sobriety

Rob Halford will mark 36 years of sobriety this week – and says living clean is still a daily struggle.

He told Spanish website Mariskal Rock he still gets tempted by beer commercials on TV: “you have to be ready for when that little beer devil comes on your shoulder and goes, ‘Come on, Rob. Have a little drink of beer.’ ‘F*** off.'”

The Judas Priest frontman has been sober since Jan. 6th, 1986 and calls it “a miracle” he’s gone 36 years without a relapse.
