Jack White just unearthed a true blast from the past – the very first recording he ever made, which is a Blondie cover, of all things.

The punk-rock version of Blondie’s “One Way Or Another” was recorded in 1997 by a teenage White and his band 400 Pounds Of Punk for a four-song cassette demo.

White’s Third Man Records released the recording online in honor of “Cassette Week”. Were you in a teenage garage band?  Did you make any demo tapes?  Still have them?
