Rock’s eternal good guy, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night to honor a front line nurse as part of Kimmel’s #HealthCareHero series.
Bronx’s Jacobi Medical Center trauma and ER nurse TJ Riley got the surprise of a lifetime when Kimmel introduced him to Grohl, who serenaded him with Foo Fighters’ “Everlong”.
Riley was also gifted $10,000 to spend “however he likes” while gift packages were given to every nurse in Riley’s department.
60% of the medical center’s staff, including Riley, have contracted Coronavirus. If you could surprise a front line worker in your life with their favorite celebrity, who would that celebrity be?
