Here’s hoping the members of Metallica have put their bills on autopay. Lars Ulrich says their current tour could go on for another two years. The band’s “WorldWired” tour in support of their latest album, Hardwired… To Self-Destruct, has been going strong since 2016.
They have several dates to go between now and December, before taking a break and heading back out in January. Speaking to The Mercury News, Ulrich admits he isn’t tired of touring, which is good because the heavy metal rockers still have plans to hit the other corners of the planet.
“We still have to go to Australia. We still have to go to Japan. We have a couple of other things planned after Europe,” the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer revealed, adding, “This may just dip into the beginning of 2020.”
