Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich says a new Metallica album could potentially happen during the quarantine.

While the four band members are all isolating at home in different parts of the country, Ulrich says they keep in touch once a week on Zoom.

While he’s hopeful that the band will be able to convene in their Northern California studio once the lockdown is lifted,

Ulrich says they’re looking into how they could “make a METALLICA record from four different locations in four different states”.
