The City of Palm Desert is accepting applications from businesses in dire need of help due to the government lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It’s the Unite Palm Desert Economic Relief package, which is offering a loan program for Palm Desert restaurants, retail stores, and service businesses, with under 25 employees, offering them forgivable loans of up to 25-thousand dollars.

Loan program applications will be accepted through June 3rd, 2020.

There are also hospitality incentives, community grants, emergency rental assistance, and homelessness assistance.

The City’s partners are FIND Food Bank, The Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce,  El Paseo Parking & Business Improvement District,  Joslyn Center, Living Desert Zoo & Botanical Gardens, McCallum Theatre; Palm Desert High School, and Desert Willow Golf Resort.
