Back in 2014 when Paul Stanley released Face The Music: A Life Exposed, the KISS frontman wrote a few things in his memoirs that could have been interpreted as unkind towards Gene Simmons.

But cut to the present day and the singer insists that his relationship with the bassist is great.

While Stanley told the “Let There Be Talk” podcast that he stands by what he said then, he clarifies that “We’ve only gotten closer and closer over time, which is just terrific.”

The Star Child reveals that he speaks to Gene often, adding, “It would be crazy and sad to go through what we’ve done together and what we’ve accomplished and have ill will or animosity.”
