Paul Stanley opened up to Fox News Digital about the “humbling experience” of spending time with dying KISS fans over his career and shared the advice he gave one fan in one of his final hours.

Stanley told him “I’m sure everyone wants you to stay and everyone is pulling for you, but you have to do what’s best for you when you feel like you wanna let go.”

Stanley also said that each time he visits a dying fan he is there “to support them in any way that he can.”

He calls the experiences “humbling to be in a room with them and see that it meant so much to them.”  Stanley said his latest book, Backstage Pass, shows to fans that he has no regrets in life.

He also understands that many don’t get to live a rockstar life but he wanted to offer “some food for thought.”
