Record Air Travel Over New Year’s Weekend

The air travel industry saw its biggest weekend since the pandemic began over New Year’s.
An estimated 1.3 million people were screened at U.S. airports on Sunday – the most since March 15th, although only about half the number of travelers in a typical year.
Experts are concerned that all that travel could lead to yet another spike in coronavirus cases in the coming weeks.
