Serj Tankian Releasing New Single

System of a Down’s Serj Tankian is gearing up to release new music!

Tankian is set to release the new single, “Amber,” on Wednesday and a video for the song is out now.

The song has folk and classical angles and is sung in Tankian’s native language of Armenian.

The title, pronounced “ahm-be’r,” means “clouds” in Armenian. In a statement, Tankian explained that he wrote the song after a visit to Armenia in 2017.
