Strong Winds, Cool Temps… Hello Fall

Cool windy conditions are hitting the Coachella Valley, San Gorgonio Pass and Inland Empire and surrounding mountain areas.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the desert and points west, until 11 p-m Monday October 26th.

The San Gorgonio Pass,  Inland Empire and local mountains are also under a Red Flag Warning until 6 p-m on Tuesday October 27th with a high risk of fire due to the strong, dry winds.

Temperatures are way down though, with desert highs near 70 on Monday and overnight lows around 45.

Winds could reach 35 to 60 miles per hour on the desert floor and even stronger through the Pass and in the mountains.
