Tool Frontman Says New Album Is Nearly Finished

Maynard James Keenan just gave an update on the new Tool album that should have fans very excited. On Thursday, Keenan tweeted that vocals and instrumental tracks have all been recorded, and the band is in the ‘long process of Mixing now’.

Tool hasn’t released an album since 2006’s 10,000 Days. No release date has been given, but hopefully the album will be completed in time for the band’s summer festival tour, which begins in May. Are you excited for the new album? How long do you think the ‘long process of mixing’ will take?
