‘We Respect His Right’: State Farm Stands By Aaron Rodgers, But Significantly Cuts Back On QB’s Ads
The Aaron Rodgers vaccine saga continues, but at least one company is standing by their man.
State Farm released a statement on Monday defending Rodgers, who has been in commercials for the insurance company for ten years.
“We don’t support some of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have his own personal point of view.”
After Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 last week, the quarterback revealed that he is not vaccinated and is taking ivermectin, which has not been proven to treat the virus.
According to CNN and NBC, however, there were far fewer State Farm/Rodgers ads that aired during Sunday games than the previous two weeks.
Another Rodgers’ sponsor, Prevea Health ended its partnership with the reigning MVP on Saturday.
