Located off the Hudson River about 25 miles north of New York City, the 4,600 square foot Queen Anne Victorian built in the late 1800s was legally declared so by the state Supreme Court in 1991.

Jeffrey Stambovsky backed out of buying the possessed place after then-owner Helen Ackley failed to inform him that “Revolutionary War-era” poltergeists walked the hallways among doing other ghostly things.

Fox News notes that screenwriter Adam Brooks, Jewish rapper Matisyahu and singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson have lived there as well with no sightings.
