The California Department of Public Health has moved Riverside County’s Covid-19 classification back to the most restrictive ”purple tier” under Governor Gavin Newsom’s color-coded coronavirus de-regulation plan, meaning some

businesses that have opened are required to close again.

Riverside County Supervisor Karen Spiegel says the change equals “nailing the coffin shut” on some business operations.

Businesses have 72 hours to re-adjust their operations, and shut down.
