Jane’s Addiction and former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Dave Navarro will pay tribute to two of his rock heroes, David Bowie, and Iggy Pop, for an upcoming charity concert.

Navarro will cover Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and The Stooges’ self-titled debut album in their entirety later this year at a show benefitting the mental health charity Above Ground.

Navarro says both albums “helped shape the sound of Jane’s Addiction” and that he was drawn to “theatrical performances” as a youth.  The show will take place Sept. 16th at Hollywood’s Fonda Theater.
