Foo Fighters, Robert Plant Set for 2019

Bourbon & Beyond Festival Hard rock and hard liquor will hit Louisville, Kentucky this year with the third annual Bourbon & Beyond Festival.  Foo Fighters, Robert Plant, ZZ Top and John Fogerty have all been announced for this year B&B lineup.

The ladies will also represent at the festival.  Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Grace Potter and Jenny Lewis will also take the stage at the “world’s largest bourbon festival”, set for September 20th-22nd.  There will also be more than two dozen hand-selected bourbons for attendees to enjoy as well as some specialty cocktails and culinary goodies from chefs like Top Chef vets Michael and Bryan Voltaggio.

Ticket go on sale this Friday at noon. Festival creator Danny Wimmer thinks that bourbon and music go hand-in-hand, saying “If you could capture America in a bottle, it would be a bottle of bourbon.  It’s a uniquely American creation, like jazz and baseball, and its beating heart is in Louisville.”
