Things are about to get extra spooky this Friday. Not only does the end of the workweek fall on the 13th of the month, the Harvest Moon will be out in full force.

Those on the US East Coast will see the peak around 12:30 am on Saturday, while the rest of the country gets a glimpse just after sunset on September 13.

Having the special full moon in the sky during the superstitious night is a rare occurrence, says Newsweek, noting the last time was in 2000 and the next one won’t be until 2049.
