House May Vote On Legalizing Marijuana

Next Week Recreational marijuana is on its way to becoming legal on a national level.

The House Rules Committee has announced it will conduct a hearing on the matter this Monday, after which the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act could be sent to the House floor for a vote.

The bill seeks to remove weed from the list of federal controlled substances and do away with criminal penalties for using or possessing it.
