Metallica Perform ‘The Black Album’ Backwards At Louder Than Life Festival

Metallica played two sets at last weekend’s Louder Than Life festival in Lousiville, KY – capping things off by performing their iconic Black Album in its entirety – with a twist.
On Sunday night, the band performed the album in reverse order – starting off with “The Struggle Within” and finishing off the main set with “Enter Sandman”.
The band is currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Black Album.
They’ve got more festival dates lined up for the fall, including Aftershock in Sacramento, CA next month and Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL in November.
