Between the success of Motley Crue’s Netflix film The Dirt and Queen’s Oscar-winning Bohemian Rhapsody biopic, it’s evident that people love rock on film.

Now, one of metal’s most influential frontmen, Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, is getting his own biopic.

Lemmy, which will be produced and directed by Greg Oliver, will follow Kilmister’s life in England as a roadie for Jimi Hendrix, as a member of the legendary psychedelic band Hawkwind, and as a bridge between punk and metal as Motorhead’s iconic, whiskey-swigging leader.

Production for Lemmy will begin in early 2021. First question; who should play Lemmy in the biopic?  If Lemmy’s time with Ozzy is highlighted in the biopic, who should play the Prince of Darkness?
